To provide the highest level of care, Dr. Kemp not only has to be educated on proper precautions, but the entire practice as well. Recently, the MK team, including Dr. Kemp, dental hygienists, dental assistants and office staff, closed for a day and dedicated time to education around excellence in health and safety. The team traveled to a certification course in infection control and learned about everything from proper sterilization to protective clothing. After the course, Dr. Kemp invited an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) expert consultant to come into the office, examine current practices and offer guidance on ways to improve.
